MINUTES of the Emergency Parish Council meeting held on THURSDAY 9th AUGUST, 2012 in the Council Chambers, Town Hall, Market Warsop at 6 pm.

8844. DECLARATIONS BY MEMBERS OF PERSONAL AND PREJUDICIAL INTEREST - The Chairman drew the attention of Members to declare any personal or prejudicial interests related to agenda items.

8845. TOWN HALL - The Chairman read out the 3 quotations received for a new heating system:
Premier Heating £49,438 + VAT
MJ Robinson £29,000 + VAT
John Whitehead £19,350 + VAT
Cllr Kerr proposed that the quotation from John Whitehead be accepted, Cllr Crawford seconded the motion and it was carried unanimously. The Chairman is to contact him, accept the quotation and get a commencement date and also run through his terms and conditions for payment.
Cllr Kochanowski told members that a recent electrical survey has been done and certain potential hazards have been reported, it was unanimously agreed that the repairs must be done with the utmost urgency.
8846. HIGH STREET CAR PARK – The Chairman informed members that a loan was to be arranged through MDC but permission was needed from the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and an application form can be obtained through NALC. The Clerk has emailed them and is waiting for a reply.
